26th Blue Ribbon Conference May 6-10

 

The 26th Annual IBA West Blue Ribbon Conference is May 6-10, 2012 at the exquisite Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows on the big island of Hawaii.  The IBA West Blue Ribbon Conference is a premier event hosted by IBA West for industry Executives to meet and network. The business sessions showcase CEO's, industry analysts and other entertaining presenters sharing their expertise on timely and provocative topics.

This year’s conference organizing topic is Danger and Opportunity: The New Norm.  Program highlights include presentations by John Jaques, John H. Jaques, Inc. on "Internal Perpetuation Can Create More Value than an Agency Sale: The Five Absolute Requirements for Guaranteeing Success.” Bobby Reagan, Reagan Consulting will present "The Leadership Study.”

Continuing Education course, "Cyber Liability: Understanding Coverages & Legal Issues for Broker-Agents," will be presented by Joseph De Hope, Jr., Partner, Kaufman Dolowich Voluck & Gonzo LLP; Francis O'Meara, Partner, Kaufman Dolowich Voluck & Gonzo LLP, and Oliver Brew, Vice President, Speciality Casualty, Liberty International Underwriters. The conference will also feature a risk management walking tour and a presentation on the “Fate of the Universe,” by Dr. Gunther Hasinger, Chief Scientist and Director, Institute of Astronomy, University of Hawaii (Big Island Observatories).
