The Department of Insurance and Department of Managed Health Care will be conducting a public discussion on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in San Francisco concerning the adoption of regulations to implement Senate Bill 51 regarding medical loss ratio and rebate requirements for health care service plans and health insurance policies.
IBA West General Counsel Steve Young will be attending the meeting and most likely will also be testifying as well as blogging about the proceedings. Members who are interested in testifying should contact Steve Young at syoung@IBAWest.com.
If you would like to attend, the meeting is Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (concluding earlier if the participants in attendance have completed their comments) at the Department of Insurance 22nd Floor Hearing Room at 45 Fremont Street, San Francisco, CA 94105.
