The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation presents Social Media 2.0 for Insurance Professionals: Maximizing Opportunities and Mitigating Risks in Today's Marketplace at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the City Club in San Francisco.
The seminar will explore the opportunities, risks and legalities of social media and its application for the insurance industry.
Featured speakers include: Peter van Aartrijk, Managing Director, Aartrijk, a branding and marketing-communications firm dedicated to serving clients in insurance, financial services and association management; Margaret Keane, Partner, Co-chair, Employment Dispute Resolution at the law firm Dewey & LeBoef; Laurie Schwarz, CIPP, Senior Vice President, Global Technology and Privacy Practice, Lockton Insurance Brokers, LLC; and Kurt Stemmler, Sr. Vice President and Branch Manager of the Northern Caliornia Office of Chubb & Son. The program will be moderated by Mitch Dunford, CEO of Wells Publishing.
The seminar runs from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. followed by a reception from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the City Club of San Francisco, The Stock Exchange Tower, the Library Room at 155 Sancome Street in San Francisco.
