Trusted Choice® Donates $171,000 to Make-A-Wish Foundation®

 

Your “Likes” Made Wishes Come True: Ce-Ce’s Wish 
Stories from the Make-A-Wish Foundation® campaign.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation® grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions and enrich these children with hope, strength and joy. 

Trusted Choice® aligned with the foundation in July, donating $10 for every new ‘like’ to our Facebook page. As a result, the Trusted Choice® Facebook page grew by 17,159 new “likes” during the month-long campaign, and the Big “I” made a $171,590 donation to the Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Our donation translated into 11 granted wishes for courageous kids across the country. For the next several weeks, we’ll share stories about the wishes you made possible. 

This week we’re featuring a wish from 15-year-old Ce-Ce from Georgia. Her wish was to go on a Quinceañera cruise. Ce-Ce’s voyage started at a cruise ship terminal in Florida. On the ship, she celebrated her 15th birthday also known as a Quinceañera, which is a meaningful milestone for many Latina girls. She also celebrated the end to her struggle with cancer.

Ce-Ce’s photo album is now full of photos from the trip. She has memories of a hike in Jamaica, a roller coaster ride in Haiti, a Jet Ski trip in Mexico, and a celebratory waltz with her father.
