Young Agents to Host Carrier President's Panel

Sept. 16 event will also include Big “I” leadership.

The Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America National Young Agents Committee (YAC) today announced the insurance carrier presidents’ panel that will take place as part of the Big “I” Fall Leadership Conference in Minneapolis, Minn.

“The Young Agents Big ‘I’ Leadership Institute presidents’ panel is a unique and excellent opportunity for some of the top insurance carriers in the country and young agents to interact face to face,” says Robert Rusbuldt, Big “I” president & CEO. “This distinguished panel is set to provide our young agents with a cornucopia of ‘food for thought’ as they discuss the state, challenges and future of the independent agency system.”

Ken Branch, Encompass vice president; Clyde H. Fitch, State Auto senior vice president and chief sales officer; Patrick Kinney, Travelers president of field management; Jeff Rommel, Independent Channel senior vice president of field operations and Mike Miley, Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America chairman will participate in the panel. Clint Ivy, YAC committee member and Fleming Insurance Agency vice president will serve as moderator.

The panel is expected to address some of the most important issues pressing independent insurance agents and the industry including technology, the economy, industry perpetuation, growing market share and more.

Other highlights of the Big “I” Fall Leadership Conference include in-depth issues briefing sessions; association leadership and committee meetings; and appearances by numerous other high-profile speakers discussing important trends, challenges and opportunities confronting agents and brokers.
