Over 500 Attended LA "I" Day

The Los Angeles I Day was held on March 25th 2011 at the Burbank Airport Marriott. The event, run by three local associations, IBA-BGP, IBA-SFV and IIABA-LA, featured  70 exhibitors and over 500 attendees.

This year the executive panel discussed the current state of the workers compensation market and it future in California. The executives on the panel were Tom Clark, Chief Operating Officer of State Compensation Insurance Fund, Steve Festa, Senior Vice President of EMPLOYERS and Paul Ramont, Executive Vice President of Zenith Insurance Company and it was moderated by 2011 I-Day Chairman Rick Dinger.

The LA I-Day committee made some significant changes to this year’s event which included a later starting time, having the lunch in the exhibit hall, not having a keynote speaker and hosting a post event cocktail party. 2011

“Judging by our outstanding turnout of member agents, the success of the changes we made speak for themselves,” said Chair Rick Dinger. “We will keep the things that worked best from this year, improve on some of the things that did not and next year will be even better!”
