Members Invited to Apply for Dan Fulwider Award

IBA West members are invited to apply for this IIABA community involvement award by March 1.

The award is named after Dan Fulwider who was the government affairs coordinator and membership liaison for the Independent Insurance Agents of Iowa, and a huge supporter of Trusted Choice®. But more than that, Fulwider was a warm and caring young man, whose dedication to his community and the causes he believed in inspired all who knew him. He passed away in 2009 after a valiant fight with cancer. In recognition of his passion and spirit for community involvement, the Big “I” has established an annual award of $2,500 that will be donated to a charity of the winning agency’s choosing. 

Click here for the guidelines and application. The award will be presented at the 2011 Big “I” National Legislative Conference & Convention, held April 13-15 at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.

In order to give more weight to the annual award, the Big “I” is no longer issuing small awards monthly.
