The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation will host its seventh Annual Club100 Dinner, sponsored by Chubb & Son, Wednesday, March 10, 2011, at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles, California.
Taking place in the nation’s premiere automotive museum, guests will journey through the past, present and future of automotive innovation. Set against a backdrop of historic Los Angeles street scenes, attendees will enjoy a visual tour of the automotive history of Los Angeles amid the over 150 vintage vehicles and buildings on display. The evening’s program offers insight into the industry’s efforts to merge sustainability with power and performance. Guests will have a unique opportunity to experience the future of green innovation firsthand, through a test drive in the stunning Tesla Roadster.*

Club100 annually provides an opportunity for senior insurance industry executives throughout Southern California to come together in a united effort, raising vital funds for local nonprofits. “Working with the Foundation has only enhanced our company’s philanthropic efforts. The Foundation unites the industry’s efforts, thereby making a larger impact and raising greater awareness of the industry’s collective charitable support,” continued Darling.

Proceeds from the Club100 Dinner will benefit local charities through the Foundation’s community grants program. Past grant recipients include Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Camp Stevens, Covenant House, Los Angeles, Impact Teen Drivers, Los Angeles Metro YMCA, The Salvation Army, Southern California Division, and Shriners Hospital, Los Angeles. Club100 has also provided academic scholarships for California State University, Fullerton scholars enrolled in the Center for Insurance Studies program.
Save the date, Thursday, April 17, 2011 for the 12th Annual Education Forum, Insuring the Future, sponsored by the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation Child Abuse Prevention Program. The annual event will feature speakers, networking and an opportunity earn continuing education credits while supporting a very worthy cause. The forum will take place on Thursday, April 17, 2011 at the Lesher Center for the Arts in Walnut Creek.
