Young Agents Support InsurPAC at the Annual Conference

A special thank you to all those who attended the YBA Conference this year and made it a successful event. Many of the people who attended the event chose to contribute to InsurPAC. InsurPAC is the federal political action committee of the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America (IIABA). It represents the unified political voice of IIABA’s 23,000 member agencies, and 300,000 agents and brokers. InsurPac’s interaction with our representatives on Capitol Hill is crucial to the interests of independent agents and brokers.

Attendees took advantage of different ways to support this great PAC. Raffle tickets were sold for a chance to win great prizes like; a two-night stay at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, free registration to 2011 YBA Conference in Napa, Los Angeles Dodgers tickets, and Oakland A’s tickets. Between the raffle tickets, “mulligan packages” on the golf course, and with your generous contributions, we were able to raise $1,345. This money goes a long way to help our collective voices to be heard on Capitol Hill.
